Dagmar sitting at the foot of a sculpture

HI! I'm DAGMAR

I'm married to Anton Krajnc, the "Monster" - I mean "Master!", of course (don't mind my accent!) - and I have tried very hard to make this webpage interesting, fun and informative. (It is my first one!)

(The photograph was taken in the main square of Pietrasanta, world-famous Italian town of marble and sculptors.)

I'm a photographer/writer with extensive archives of Seventies Rock groups and other treasures... My work has been published in many international magazines and books on Elvis, David Bowie, Elton John, Rod Stewart, etc. (By the way, I'm looking for a publisher for my own book on Seventies ROCK Phenomena!!)
My first "serious/not serious" job was company photographer for the Musical 'HAIR'
in New York and Munich. It was a fascinating time... More about that on the next page!

We shall be updating and adding other links as time goes on.
Here's a poem by Eliza Octavia Gaden Friar (b. May 24, 1988):

Happiness tastes like Jello
The taste of Jello feels like giggles
The feeling of giggles smells like jellybeans
The smell of jellybeans sounds like keys
The sound of keys looks like diamonds

(written in school, April 30, 1999, © Eliza Friar)

do you like it as much as I do? Let her know!

Randomly added thoughts and ruminations, whenever I come across them, in 1999 and beyond:

Some advice to get you off to a good start:

Live Life, Feel Love, Give Hugs, and Laff Lots !!!

  • Work like you don't need the money
Love like you've never been hurt
Dance as if no one's looking
Always stay a step ahead of the storm -
    and
If life gives you lemons, make lemonade, and call a friend.

    And now let's ruminate:

  • A conscience is what hurts you when all other parts feel so good ...
    (ANONYMOUS, of course!)

  • He who laughs last, thinks slowest!
    (ditto)

  • There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

  • Indecision is the key to flexibility.

  • Someone who thinks logically provides a nice contrast to the real world.

  • "It is well to remember that the entire universe, with one trifling exception, is composed of others."
    (JOHN ANDREW HOLMES)

  • MIND LIKE A STEEL TRAP - RUSTY AND ILLEGAL IN 37 STATES.
    (was that a sign somewhere??)

  • If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

  • Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things.
    (GEORGE CARLIN - again!)

  • You don't stop laughing because you grow old;
you grow old because you stop laughing.

  • "Manchmal muss man springen in dem Vertrauen darauf,
daß einem während des Fluges Flügel wachsen werden."
(Sometimes you have to jump, confident that you will grow wings in flight.)
    (STEPHAN BAUER)

    BUT - just in case...:
  • NEVER DRIVE FASTER THAN YOUR ANGEL CAN FLY!!
    (Advice from the Internet)

  • The older you get, the better you realize you were.

  • "All animals except man know that the ultimate purpose of life is to enjoy it."
    (SAMUEL BUTLER)

  • "When all your wishes have been granted,
many of your dreams will be destroyed."
    (Anonymous?)

  • "If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular?"

  • Some concerns about my second language:
Why is it that no word in the English language rhymes with
    month, orange, silver, or purple?
(I'm going to work on finding a rhyme, want to help?)

Why don't tomb, comb, and bomb sound alike?

Why do overlook and oversee mean opposite things?

Why can't you make another word using all the letters in "anagram"?

Is there another word for synonym?

  • Are people more violently opposed to fur rather than leather
because it's much easier to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs?

  • If you think you're too small to be effective, you have never been in bed with a mosquito.

  • Computers will save your life at the exact moment they ruin it.
    (Mancub212@aol.com)

  • Men are from Earth, women are from Earth. Deal with it.

  • Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure. ;-)

  • On average people fear spiders more than they do death.
BUT: You are more likely to be killed by a champagne cork than by a poisonous spider.
